NEWSLETTER
Hello
Everyone!
We
apologize for the delay in newsletters; it has been a very
challenging time. Hopefully we are back on track now and we
plan to have at least a quarterly newsletter so you know the
happenings in a more timely fashion.
To
back track a bit, in July of 2010 Lissie and Marji packed
Marji’s car with items that were too costly or odd shaped
to ship.Then Fred Lee, one of the members of RtH helped us
pack an U-haul trailer, the back of his pick up and the back
seat of his truck with other boxes and items and we all headed
to South Dakota! We delivered the items to Sedona and she
was able to get them distributed to folks on the
reservation.
In
August of 2010, the River City Riders of Washington, NC
motorcycle club began a partnership with RtH to help get
warm items to Pine Ridge. We are so happy to be able to work
with these wonderful people that care for other folk’s
plight and are willing to help with time, donations and
prayers. Thank you River City Riders!
In
Oct. of 2010, RtH sponsored the Fall poker run. It was very
successful but we could not have done it without River City
Riders!
